Our 2023 Service Evaluation, with responses from 332 participants, highlights the transformative impact of our services in promoting mental health, emotional wellbeing, and community connection. From Glasgow to Edinburgh and beyond, we are proud to serve Scotland’s LGBTQ+ community.
Key findings on LGBT health in Scotland
Our services are making a significant difference. Here’s how:
- 78% of all respondents felt more confident in seeking support
- 77% of all respondents felt more connected to their community
- 77% of all respondents felt better about themselves
- 74% of all respondents felt safe and secure in their identity
- 72% of all respondents felt less lonely
- 70% of all respondents were more aware of services that can support them
- 69% of all respondents felt their mental / emotional health was better
- 68% of all respondents felt able to cope with day to day life

Participants rated our services highly across the board:
- 92% of all respondents rated our staff as excellent or very good
- 91% of all respondents rated our volunteers as excellent or very good
- 88% of all respondents rated our quality of services as excellent or very good
