What's the Kiltwalk?

Kiltwalk is Scotland’s lowest cost fundraising challenge. But it’s not just a walk, it’s a full-on strut for change. Choose your city (Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh), choose your distance, and join thousands of people walking for the causes they care about most.

This year (and every year) we want you on our team! Whether you’re rocking rainbow socks, glitter beards, or keeping it classic tartan (optional), this is your chance to show up proudly for your community.

Thanks to Kiltwalk:

  • 100% of the money you raise comes directly to us
  • We can claim up to 25% more in Gift Aid
  • You get to do something fun for your own wellbeing and for your community

Why walk for LGBT Health and Wellbeing?

Right now, LGBTQ+ people across Scotland are facing rising hostility, isolation and inequality. Demand for our services is growing and your walk directly powers the support LGBTQ+ people in Scotland rely on.

When you walk for us at Kiltwalk, your steps turn into:

  • 1:1 support from LGBTQ+ affirming counsellors
  • Social spaces where people can connect and build support networks
  • Specialist support for trans and non-binary people, LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees, LGBTQ+ elders, LGBTQ+ carers and more
  • national LGBTQ+ helpline with trained volunteers ready to listen
  • Joy, resilience, community, the things keeping people going through tough times

Kiltwalk star

“Working in healthcare myself, I have realised there are gaps in provision of accessible and specialist health and wellbeing services for LGBTQ+ people therefore, I wanted to raise money and  awareness of a Scottish-based charity that would specifically go towards supporting LGBTQ+ people and communities in Scotland whilst doing something that I enjoy. I also do this in memory of the people in my life from the LGBTQ+ community that have sadly been lost too soon to suicide.”
