LGBTQ+ NA
LGBTQ+ Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship or society of LGBTQ+ people for whom drugs had become a major problem. Narcotics Anonymous uses a 12-step model developed for people with varied substance use disorders. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using.
LGBTQ+ NA every Monday (6.30-7.45pm) at LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
You can email us at joanna@lgbthealth.org.uk or phone LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s admin phone 0131 564 3970 and leave a message us. We volunteer in our own time so there might be a delay in getting back to you.
We are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
This closed group is for all LGBTQ+ people aged 16 or over who desire to stop using drugs.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who aren’t sure about their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
You don’t need to register in advance—just drop in.
The event is hosted at LGBT Health and Wellbeing in Duncan Place Community Hub.
The venue and our event features:
Wheelchair access with ramp access, automatic doors and lifts
Disabled parking spaces x 2
Accessible and gender neutral toilets
Relaxed timing: drop in and out when you like
