LGBT Autism Group
You don’t need an autism spectrum (or other) diagnosis to join our group.
LGBT Autism meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month (6-7.30pm) at LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
If you are interested in joining the group, please contact the group at lgbtautism2024@gmail.com or phone LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s admin phone 0131 564 3970 and leave a message us. We volunteer in our own time so there might be a delay in getting back to you.
We are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
This group is for all LGBTQ+ people aged 16 or over who identify themselves as Autistic/Neurodivergent.
You don’t need an autism spectrum (or other) diagnosis to attend.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who aren’t sure about their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
If you are interested in joining the group, please contact the group at lgbtautism2024@gmail.com or leave a message for the group on our admin phone at 0141 255 1767.
The event is hosted at LGBT Health and Wellbeing at 14 North Claremont Street.
The venue and our event features:
Wheelchair accessible with level access
Accessible gender neutral toilets
All LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s groups are delivered under a safer spaces commitment that we ask everyone to follow (this includes attendees, our staff and volunteers).
