Overview

A wellbeing foraging walk for LGBTQ+ people (16+) in Glasgow

Join foraging tutor and clinical herbalist, Catriona Gibson, for a walk around Queen’s Park. We’ll be identifying edible and medicinal plants and talking about how to harvest and use these sustainably.

No previous experience required, you may want to bring a notebook and/or camera to take notes. Please bring waterproofs and wear sturdy shoes – the walk may be off the path in some places, please let us know if you might need assistance.

Catriona has been a community and clinical herbalist for 15 years, focusing on seasonal plants and teaching people how to make their own remedies. She is a member of Grass Roots Remedies Co-operative, a herbal workers co-op based in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
