Coffee Posse
A safe space for LGBTQ+ people who are 50 and over to have a brew and a blether.
Anyone aged 50 and above is welcome to join our online meetup. It is a welcoming and safe space where you can meet new people, catch up with old friends and connect with your local community.
The LGBT Age team will be there to meet and greet you. There will be some gentle, no pressure relaxed social activities to help folks introduce themselves and get to know each other, and we’ll use breakout rooms for smaller group chats.
Coffee Posse Glasgow meets every 4th Thursday of the month (5-7pm).
This event is for LGBTQ+ people aged 50 and over.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
This includes those who are questioning or exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity.
You don’t need to register in advance—just drop in when it suits you between 5pm and 7pm.
The event is hosted at the Calton Heritage Learning Centre.
Here are the directions to get to the venue.
The venue and our event features:
Wheelchair access with ramp access and automatic doors.
Accessible gender neutral toilets
All LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s events are delivered under a safer spaces commitment that we ask everyone to follow (this includes attendees, our staff and volunteers).
