Bat Walk
This event has been cancelled due to the wet weather. If you have any questions please contact andrew@lgbthealth.org.uk
A guided Bat Walk in Kelvingrove park for LGBTQ+ people (16+) in Glasgow.
Join us and the Bat Conversvation Trust for a guided walk to identify Bat species.
The walk will include an introduction by the Bat Convservation Trust, a walk around Kelvingrove park to identify native species and the chance to use bat detectors!
Please bring torches (phone torches are ok, but head torches are better) and comfortable walking shoes to explore.
Please note: The event may be cancelled or re-scheduled at short notice if the weather is unsuitable.
Check FAQ below for more information.
The group is for LGBTQ+ people aged 16+.
This includes lesbian, gay, bi, trans, non‑binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
You’re also welcome if you’re exploring or don’t use labels.
Kelvingrove Park is wheelchair accessible with paths throughout. There will be portions of the walk that may go off path to explore. However adjustments to the route can be made so all can take part. Contact andrew@lgbthealth.org.uk with any of your access needs.
