All Ways Always
We are the Scottish Network of Parents and Carers of Trans Kids.
The format of our meetings is simple, welcoming and non-judgemental. We give parents, family members and carers a safe space to discuss how they are doing, away from their offspring. Topics can range from how to navigate the NHS Gender Clinic to how to obtain supportive education in their local school.
There is absolutely no pressure to talk unless you feel you want to.
The Group Leaders are not counsellors, or experts, but they can offer their own lived experience.
We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month in Edinburgh (18:30-20:30).
It is essential that you register by email ahead of the meeting. To register email:

Details of the venue will be provided after registration.
We are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
The group is for LGBTQ+ people aged 16+ who are parents or carers of a trans kid.
This includes lesbian, gay, bi, trans, non‑binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
You’re also welcome if you’re exploring or don’t use labels.

All LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s groups are delivered under a safer spaces commitment that we ask everyone to follow (this includes attendees, our staff and volunteers).
