Sexual health

We’re proud to offer the first community sexual health clinic specifically for trans and non-binary people in Scotland. This service is provided in partnership with Lothian Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, Waverley Care and LGBT Youth Scotland.

This clinic is a step to reduce barriers that trans and non-binary people face when trying to access sexual health services.

Who is the clinic for?

Trans and non‑binary people in Lothian, including intersex, questioning, and gender non-conforming people of all identities.

What we offer

• STI testing (no symptoms only)
• Contraception (no IUD fitting)
• PrEP support
• Cervical screening
• Sexual health and wellbeing advice

What to expect

• No appointment needed

• Private consultation with an inclusive nurse

When is the clinic open?

The clinic is open on selected Thursdays with two time options. On some Thursdays we extend the clinic hours into the evening. In these instances the clinic opens from 1pm – 4pm, closes for 1.5 hours, then opens again from 5.30pm – 7pm.
