We are delighted to return to our monthly social meet ups again to reconnect, meet new friends and explore new spaces.

LGBT Age Goes to Town:

  • Meets from 2-4pm on the second Tuesday of each month
  • Meets in a different venue each month – publicised in Virtual Hug and on our website
  • LGBT Age will pay for your first cup of tea or coffee
  • All community members over 60 years of age are welcome to join us.
  • No advance registration or sign-up required.
  • These meet- ups will observe LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s Safer Space Policy.

Marks & Spencer’s Café, Braehead shopping centre, King’s Inch Road, G51 4BP.

Meet in M&S Café, where Jane and Lynda will be keeping tables for us. It is easy to find situated on the left-hand side of the main entrance to the mall where most of the bus services arrive.

Tuesday 8th December, 2pm – 4pm

Kelvingrove Museum Café, main foyer, Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8AG. Kelvingrove breathes a little festive magic and offers a warm welcoming visitor experience.

 

Who we welcome

All LGBTQ+ people aged 50+ are welcome to join us.

We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.

We also welcome people who are exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
