LGBT Age goes to Town
We are delighted to return to our monthly social meet ups again to reconnect, meet new friends and explore new spaces.
LGBT Age Goes to Town:
- Meets from 2-4pm on the second Tuesday of each month
- Meets in a different venue each month – publicised in Virtual Hug and on our website
- LGBT Age will pay for your first cup of tea or coffee
- All community members over 60 years of age are welcome to join us.
- No advance registration or sign-up required.
- These meet- ups will observe LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s Safer Space Policy.
Tuesday 13th October, 2pm – 4pm
Marks & Spencer’s Café, Braehead shopping centre, King’s Inch Road, G51 4BP.
Meet in M&S Café, where Jane and Lynda will be keeping tables for us. It is easy to find situated on the left-hand side of the main entrance to the mall where most of the bus services arrive.
Tuesday 10th November, 2pm – 4pm
Marks & Spencer’s Café, Argyle Street, Glassford St, Glasgow.
Tuesday 8th December, 2pm – 4pm
Kelvingrove Museum Café, main foyer, Argyle Street, Glasgow, G3 8AG. Kelvingrove breathes a little festive magic and offers a warm welcoming visitor experience.
Who we welcome
All LGBTQ+ people aged 50+ are welcome to join us.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
