LGBT Age goes to Town
Monthly Social Meetups for LGBTQ+ People Aged 60+
We are delighted to launch Edinburgh Age Goes to Town, a new monthly social get-together designed to help older LGBTQ+ people connect, make new friends, and explore welcoming spaces across the city.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, enjoy a chat over a cuppa, or discover somewhere new, we’d love for you to join us.
General information about the meetup:
📅 When: 2pm – 4pm on the third Tuesday of every month
📍 Where: A different venue each month, announced in Virtual Hug and our website
☕ Bonus: LGBT Age Goes to Town will pay for your first tea or coffee
👥 Who: Open to all LGBTQ+ community members aged 60+
✅ No booking required – just come along!
All meetups will follow LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s Safer Spaces Policy, helping to ensure everyone feels welcomed, respected and included.

Who we welcome
All LGBTQ+ people aged 60+ are welcome to join us.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or who do not use labels for either.
This event is for LGBTQ+ people aged 60+.
