Stray Cats Papercraft Club
Stray Cats Papercraft Club invites you for some papercraft fun.
Our group leader Faiz makes 3D papercraft kits with minimal language, clear and easy instructions, and can be made using just glue and scissors. They’re suitable for people with any (or no) experience. You can work on these or you can do your own papercrafts!
All materials and a plastic bag to keep your papercraft dry on the way home will be provided.
We meet every 1st Sunday of the month (2-4pm) in Glasgow Caledonian University.
You can email us at StrayCatsPapercraft@gmail.com or phone LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s admin phone 0131 564 3970 and leave a message us. We volunteer in our own time so there might be a delay in getting back to you.
We are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
The group is for all LGBTQ+ people aged 16+, with a special focus for People Of Colour (POC).
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or do not use labels for either.
Please get in touch with Faiz if you’d like to join at StrayCatsPapercraft@gmail.com or leave a message on our admin phone 0141 255 1767.
Please note community groups are run by volunteers in their own time, so there may be a delay in getting back to you.
The group is hosted in the Relax and Renew Space on the ground floor of the Sir Alex Ferguson Library in Glasgow Caledonian University.
The venue is wheelchair accessible – view a full accessibility guide here.

- – Take the access opposite the bus station building (next to the traffic lights)
- – This access is sloped, the access further along Cowcaddens Road has stairs
- – Walk up the slope – there should be a red coloured building on your left, a grey-white building ahead, and a grey building on your right.
- – When you get to the junction, turn right then left into the garden space.
- – The library is ahead of you at the far end of the garden – you should see a large circular tower behind it, and “Sir Alex Ferguson Library” above the doors.
- – Relax and Renew Space is a beautiful open work space. It is on the ground floor, you will see it as you enter the library.
