DESCRIPTION:We are the Scottish Network of Parents and Carers of Trans Kids. \n  \nThe format of our meetings is simple\, welcoming and non-judgemental. We give parents\, family members and carers a safe space to discuss how they are doing\, away from their offspring. Topics can range from how to navigate the NHS Gender Clinic to how to obtain supportive education in their local school. \n  \nThere is absolutely no pressure to talk unless you feel you want to. \n  \nThe Group Leaders are not counsellors\, or experts\, but they can offer their own lived experience. \n  \nWe meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month in Edinburgh (18:30-20:30). \n  \nIt is essential that you register by email ahead of the meeting. To register email:\ntransparentsees@gmail.com. \n  \nDetails of the venue will be provided after registration. \n  \nWe are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing. \n  \n
