DESCRIPTION:Do you want to connect with other LGBTQ+ people\, and with yourself? \n  \nWhether you want every day wellbeing tools\, a boost to your self-care\, a chance to meet new folk or simply a space to feel connected\, this group is for you. \n  \nEach month we’ll try out an activity like mindfulness\, meditation\, or exploring simple stress management tools. There’ll always be time for a cuppa and a chat. DESCRIPTION:Are you trans\, able to get to Edinburgh\, and want to sing? \n  \nWe are Edinburgh Trans Choir (ETC)\, a relaxed biweekly choir by trans people for trans people. DESCRIPTION:Overview\n  \n\n\nA wellbeing foraging walk for LGBTQ+ people (16+) in Glasgow\n\n\n\n  \nJoin foraging tutor and clinical herbalist\, Catriona Gibson\, for a walk around Queen’s Park. We’ll be identifying edible and medicinal plants and talking about how to harvest and use these sustainably. \n  \nNo previous experience required\, you may want to bring a notebook and/or camera to take notes. Please bring waterproofs and wear sturdy shoes – the walk may be off the path in some places\, please let us know if you might need assistance. \n  \nCatriona has been a community and clinical herbalist for 15 years\, focusing on seasonal plants and teaching people how to make their own remedies. She is a member of Grass Roots Remedies Co-operative\, a herbal workers co-op based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. \n\n  \nImportant information \nWho: This group is for LGBTQ+ people aged 16+\, including if you’re exploring your identity or don’t use labels. \n  \nWhen: Friday 21st August\, 11am – 1pm \nWhere: Queens Park\, Glasgow (more information on meeting location will be sent once you have registered). \nRegister in advance: Sign up here on Eventbrite (spaces limited). DESCRIPTION:Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience\, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. \n  \nThis group is an AA group focused on LGBTQ+ people and their experiences. It is a closed AA meeting meaning limited to LGBTQ+ people who think or know they have a problem with drinking. \n  \nWe meet every Tuesday (7.45-8.45pm) both in person at LGBT Health and Wellbeing\, and online. \n  \nYou can email us at LGBTAA@lgbthealth.org.uk or phone LGBT Health and Wellbeing’s admin phone 0131 564 3970 and leave a message for us. We volunteer in our own time so there might be a delay in getting back to you. \n  \nWe are a community group led by community members with support from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.

DESCRIPTION:Do you want to connect with other LGBTQ+ people\, and with yourself? \n  \nWhether you want every day wellbeing tools\, a boost to your self-care\, a chance to meet new folk or simply a space to feel connected\, this group is for you. \n  \nEach month we’ll try out an activity like mindfulness\, meditation\, or exploring simple stress management tools. There’ll always be time for a cuppa and a chat. Since we’re right next to Leith Links\, we’ll sometimes head outdoors for a gentle walk in nature. \n  \nWe’re also hoping to bring in some brilliant community partners to offer free taster sessions like shiatsu\, breathwork\, and more. \n  \nUpcoming sessions programme \n\nWednesday 15th July\, 2-3.30pm: Walk and Chat\nWednesday 19th August\, 2-3.30pm: Mindfulness\nWednesday 16th September\,2-3.30pm: Crafts tbc\n\n  \nHelp shape the group \nThis is a new group\, and you’ll help shape it from day one. \n\nWhat do you want from a wellbeing group?\nWhat would support you?\nWhat would help you feel more grounded or connected?\n\nTell us and we’ll come together to make it happen.

DESCRIPTION:Grab your favourite mug and connect with LGBTQ+ people from across Scotland in the comfort of your own home. \n  \nAnyone aged 50 and above is welcome to join our online meetup. It is a welcoming and safe space where you can meet new people\, catch up with old friends and connect with your local community. \n  \nThe LGBT Age team will be there to meet and greet you. There will be some gentle\, no pressure relaxed social activities to help folks introduce themselves and get to know each other\, and we’ll use breakout rooms for smaller group chats.
