SUMMARY:Pride Morning Meetup
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a warm and welcoming Pre-Pride Coffee Morning – a joyful gathering to kick off the day in true Pride spirit! \n  \nWe’ll have plenty of coffee\, tea\, and light refreshments (🍎 Vegan/veg options available) to fuel the festivities\, plus the chance to make signs and badges\, share stories\, and soak in the community energy. We’ll have bottles of water and fruit to help fuel you for the day as well\, and some tunes to get us in the Pride mood! \nCome together with our friends old and new\, celebrate who we are\, stand up for our rights and get ready to march with pride\, purpose and unity. \n  \nAll are welcome! \n  \nWhat to expect:\n\nA trans inclusive and affirmative space\nA space where you are always queer enough\, and allies are welcome to support in solidarity\nOpen to anyone aged 16+\nRoom to roam\, with volunteers and staff to provide a welcome and info throughout\nThe chance to see our new office and contribute your ideas\nHave a warming cup of tea or coffee and a snack throughout the event\nAll in a safer space to connect and have fun\, including quieter space if you need it\n\n  \n  \nPhotography\nStaff/volunteers may be taking a few photos or wee videos at the event\, for LGBT Health to use publicly on our socials and website\, to let people see what these events are like. If you do not wish to be photographed we will respect your wishes – please feel welcome to use our ‘No Photos’ stickers available at the welcome desk. \n  \n  \nTickets:\nPlease register for tickets here: Glasgow Pride Morning Meetup\n  \nIf you are signing up more than 1 person\, we require you to register each person separately. \nWhilst we do not want cost to be a barrier to attending\, we ask that when you book on Eventbrite\, you make a donation of £5 per person if you are able. Cash/card/contactless donations can be made upon entry. \nIf you’re not able to donate\, we don’t want that to stop you joining us. \nIf you feel you can\, you are also welcome to ‘pay it forward’ and donate a little more\, to cover the cost of a ticket for someone in our community who isn’t able to donate right now. This is a great way to support our community and help us to have more events like this. \n  \nDonations help cover costs for this event and also mean we can host more events like this in the future. \n  \n  \nAlthough most of our events are oversubscribed\, meaning many people miss out on a space\, “no shows” can be up to 50%. We therefore ask if your plans change or you no longer feel like joining\, you cancel your ticket to allow us to give it to someone else. Please note that if you “no show” to 3 events in 3 months you may be placed on temporary restriction from being able to register for other upcoming events. This is to ensure those who want to join have the chance for a space.
