At The Centre
The LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing is a unique Healthy Living Centre initiative which opened in 2003 with 5-year core funding from the Big Lottery Fund. Its purpose is to promote health and wellbeing among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people living in, working in and travelling to Edinburgh.
.
The Centre has, since its core funding came to an end in February 2008, undergone a tremendous organisational transition. After being forced to close for six months, it secured further funding and re-opened in September 2008. It is now staffed by a dedicated team who, in partnership with a large volunteer team and a wide range of individuals, groups and other organisations, deliver a varied programme of events, workshops, courses and groups.

We want to make sure we do our best to learn from any areas where we do not perform well, and improve our work as a result. Click here to read our full complaints procedure.
